The Position:
ARC Consulting is currently looking for a Senior Manager for our Mumbai office to support our expanding efforts in India.
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Senior Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and managing client engagements, providing strategic insights, and overseeing the delivery of high-quality consulting services. As a trusted advisor, you will leverage your industry knowledge and expertise to identify opportunities, develop innovative solutions, and drive business performance improvement.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage client engagements, ensuring project objectives are met within budget and timeline constraints. Provide strategic guidance by analyzing complex business problems, conducting market research, and developing actionable recommendations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement innovative solutions that address client needs and drive business growth.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor and fostering long-term partnerships.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, import/export procedures, Free Trade Agreements, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously enhance your knowledge and expertise.
- Contribute to business development efforts, including proposal development, client presentations, and networking activities.
- Build and manage a local team that will be responsible for operations, analysis, and sales.
- Act as representative at industry conferences, seminars, and other professional events.
- Coordinating with Custom House Agents and Freight Forwarders for forwarding and clearance matters to support our clients in international trading, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, including customs, trade, and tax regulations.
- Work at the intersection of product and marketing to deliver strategies for unlocking growth potential and own the growth strategy, including P&L responsibility and tax regulations.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of work experience, with at least 5 years in managerial positions
- BSc. or Msc. Degree in Business, Marketing or Engineering-related field
- Experience in Supply Chain, Business Development, Business Operations and basic understanding of HR and Finance
- Business-fluent in English
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with proven presentation skills
- Deep understanding of the Indian industry landscape and market trends
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
- Ability to negotiate and finalize deals
- Ability to conduct market research and analysis
- Highly logical and analytical
- Well-organized with good attention to details
- Ability to work collaboratively across a growing international entrepreneurial firm
